As we wrap up 2022 I wanted to take a minute to thank you for another amazing year! Despite another year of obstacles you managed to shine and as echoed in the recent winter publication of Maine REALTOR® magazine, I too am looking into the New Year with great optimism.
In 2020 I turned 50 and with that, I knew getting older would breed its share of aches and pains, but I had no idea that within a week of my fiftieth, a pandemic would settle in. As you know, I use a whiteboard to remind me of my goals, but there has not been enough ink in that marker to rewrite the script. With the systems in place, the business plan pivoted, and not only did our team and industry respond, but we also pulled together and thrived.
Without dwelling on the highs and lows of the past, I wish to thank you for your endless encouragement and support, your creativity to be better each day, and your character to keep me in the game. United we stood, and I am elated with the success and could not be more proud to be affiliated with Cates RE.
Wrapping up the year, my challenge is to pay attention to the obstacles. In the words of the great Roman Emperor, Marcus Aurelius, "What stands in the way becomes the way." Embrace these obstacles, let's learn from them and become stronger.
